Student’s Results at the 2012 Utah State Fair.

I am very excited to announce the results for Justine Tabligan and Kimberly Tabligan at the Utah State Fair. They continue to expand and improve their creative and design abilities.

Taste the Ocean – Kimberly Tabligan
Carved Gourd

Kimberly won a second place award for one of her gourds but this fact still has a silver lining to it since it was Justine who took first.

Mermaid’s School – Kimberly Tabligan

Kimberly was awarded a third place ribbon for her pyrography project which is a great accomplishment for her first attempt at wood burning.

First Meeting – Kimberly Tabligan
Carved Emu Egg

Expanding her repertoire, Kimberly took on the challenge of carving an emu egg. It seems the judges were pleased with her efforts as well. And last but certainly not least, her gourd entitled Diversity of Earth continues to earn top accolades.

How thrilling it is to be part of teaching our next generation to express themselves through art, to learn how to use their imagination, and not to be afraid to share their creations with the world. Congratulations to you both.
