Student Accepted to Face of Utah Sculpture

We discovered on the 25th of June, 2012 that my student (and daughter) Kimberly Baity will be exhibiting her art in the 8th Annual Face of Utah Sculpture Exhibit at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center. She is only the second youth to be part of this statewide exhibit which showcases artist who create three dimensional art. Kimberly will be offering two pieces, both carved gourds. The second of her two pieces is just finished and will see this show as its first public viewing.

Kathy, it is an amazing thing to help grow the imagination and creativity in youth. Being a part of developing talents is one of the most worthwhile parts of my life. Kim is thrilled to have been given this opportunity to contribute to one of the most significant shows in Utah. And yes, I am very proud of her and her accomplishments.
