Best of State 2011 Award Gala
What a great event we had this year. When we entered the foyer the award winners and their guests were greeted by this wonderful quartet of youth musicians called the Vivaldi Quartet. All of these children are age 12 and under.
This is the third Best of State award I have been privileged to be awarded with. Each of the galas have been entertaining in their own right, but I feel this year was better than the previous two. Great performers like this group, Caleb Chapman’s Little Big Band, which played their hearts out and wowed the attendees made this night an evening to remember. They are all Junior High aged children.
Many other awesome performers filled out the night’s entertainment.
Dr. Lew Jensen founder of Profitable Hobbies and The Inspiration and Encouragement Network (I&E Network)came to the Gala. He interviewed me after the gala was over to be used for the I&E Network to help others achieve their best in their chosen art forms.
There are so many people to thank that I can’t possible list them all. Having said this, I want to call attention to a few I am especially thankful to:
Profitable Hobbies, The Inspiration and Encouragement Network, The Best of State Organization, and O. C. Tanner
