Utah Cultural Celebration Center presents “The Mix”

The Utah Cultural Celebration Center is hosting a celebration. If you live in the Wasatch front and want something to do on June 7th, 2014 consider this free event as a great choice.

WHAT: This spring the Cultural Center reveals its latest community festival: The MIX.  This cultural celebration features visual and performing arts from various ethnic communities who call the Wasatch Front home.  The event features art demonstrations and sales by local artists; traditional music and dance from around the world; diverse ethnic foods for sale; hands-on children’s art activities, and a special closing ceremony complete with fireworks.

 WHO: Everyone is invited to The MIX cultural celebration FREE of charge.

 WHY: The Utah Cultural Celebration Center is proud to celebrate its 10th anniversary with a multicultural festival called “The MIX.” Join us in celebrating multiple cultures and ethnicities with music, dance, food and a closing ceremony complete with fireworks.

Artists participating in the festival all call Utah their home, but come from many different ethnic backgrounds. Groups from China; South and Central America; Mexico; Western Africa; the Philippines; New Zealand; Tonga; Japan, and Utah’s pioneer/cowboy and American Indian cultures are scheduled to participate.  Hand-on art activities and face-painting, balloon animals, bouncy houses, and more will entertain children!
